ABOUT THE STORY
Times of London is Vol.1 in The Panharmonion Chronicles epic alternative history saga, where beside the potential for art and music to bring us together, the story also evokes serious issues about society, patriarchy, race, justice, identity and power structures.
The story is about a multi-cultural female music composer who struggles with a conflicted identity, a traumatic past and repressed supernatural abilities while fighting a violent supremacist cult through Time.
When Alex Campbell moves from Toronto to London to start a new life, instead she finds herself harassed by a shadowy corporation with ancient roots and a malevolent agenda. Her resistance to their violence unleashes a catastrophic chain of events that threatens her own sanity and the survival of our world.
Driven by a strong female character, the multi-layered narrative is a gritty thriller set between 19th and 21st century across England, Scotland, Ontario, Quebec, Ohio and Nova Scotia.

SYNOPSIS
This story continues the extraordinary adventures of time-travelling musician Alex Campbell, started in TIMES OF LONDON, the first volume of THE PANHARMONION CHRONICLES. The action now takes place between Scotland and Nova Scotia in 1881.
Born from the ashes of the American Civil War and the activities of European colonial powers, the republic of Varangia is now on a brutal conquest of Eastern Canada and beyond. Nothing seems able to stand in their path as they seek their manifest destiny, led by President Godwin Deblanc and the mystical order of the Immaculate Oblati.
As they extend their reach, Varangia and its dominions are being turned into a patriarchal religious supremacy enabled by social control, wanton resource extraction and a powerful military-industrial complex. Indigenous populations and non-white immigrants are treated as expandable commodities for cheap labour and much worse.
When Alex stands up to protect a group of trafficked women and children, she starts a chain of events that could have dreadful consequences for her and the people she seeks to protect. She now finds herself facing multiple threats and new horrors, the likes of which, she could have never imagined.
GHOSTS OF SOUND is the second volume in the epic saga THE PANHARMONION CHRONICLES created and written by Henry Chebaane. Masterfully illustrated by veteran graphic artist Stephen Baskerville, this novel is a gritty blend of science-fiction, horror and alternative history spiced with occasional wry humour and philosophical musings.
GHOSTS OF SOUND is being released in three issues between now and Summer 2025.
